M9/Japan Tour Day 5

Well, M5 went well yesterday evening, and I managed to score above 75% to secure a pass. That's the passing mark, btw. Was easier than I expected, though, but there were also questions that I wasn't sure about, as the answer options were too similar or I forgot the answer. But thank God I still passed. Next will be "M9" on the 21st. Just glanced through the textbook before I left home earlier, and it's much thicker than M5's.. -_-" Ah well. Time to hit the books. There's a week's worth of tutorial classes next week. Hope these whole day classes will be helpful to help me understand the subject.




Stumbled upon this as I was browsing through Jaben's forums. Kinda cool. Took the test and it looks like I'm still an ISFJ. Speaking of Jaben, I'm still waiting for the es2 cables to arrive. They are meant to replace the worn and torn cables on my UE SF3 IEMs. Just hope they arrive soon; have been waiting for about a month or so already.

Terence's wedding in KL was nice. Managed to be on the same bus as Francis, Siew Ming and her mum. Too bad Colin couldn't join in due to work commitments. Still waiting for group photos to arrive in my inbox. It's a nice place, the Pallace Beach and Spa. On the shores of the Mines lake. Sunset was beautiful over there. The ceremony was very nice, and food during the dinner was wonderful. Managed to get up early the next morning to attend Terence's church. Wonderful service and sermon. Couldn't spend more time in KL as I had to leave on the 3pm coach to take me back home. Rushed through lunch only to find out that the coach got delayed by almost 2 hours. Spent the time in the resort's lounge with my travel companions chatting and reading through the newspapers. They extended their trip so they'll only head back on Tuesday. Thank God for the smooth journey back home, and that Terence's wedding gift didn't crack in the ride up north (Precious Moments wedding figurine shared with Em).

In regards to my choice of career, some friends were rather concerned as I'm joining the financial industry. It was after lots of prayer and a couple of chats with my manager, the most recent being just after the crisis on Wall Street hit the world, that I decided to give this a shot. Granted, my personality don't really fit, but I still hope to be able to do well, with God's grace and His wisdom guiding me along through each day. I can only get into a contract after M9 though, after which there are still other papers to sit for to prepare me for the work ahead. Keep me in prayer, my dear readers. I'll need a lot of it in preparation for the days ahead.


Another long day. Managed to catch some beautiful sights of Mount Fuji when we drove along Lake Saiko (one of 5 lakes created when Mt Fuji erupted) to the Visitor's Centre. Managed to take some shots as well, though I won't really expect sharp ones, due to the lack of shutter controls on my current camera and my "minimal use of flash" philosophy when it comes to shooting. Clouds were covering much of the peak, but it's really amazing and facinating to be able to see the peak. It has some snow melted off, so it's a mix of white and blue, unless the photos I tend to see which shows a snow-capped peak. Then we hit Tokyo, or at least the outskirts. Chiba and Disneyland was the next stop. Wasn't really that excited about this part of the itinerary, but decided to hit the stores and look for plushes. Didn't manage to find what I wanted, which surprised me, so I settled for a cd and a dvd, 2 rounds of lunch, and some tame rides to try to justify the 5400+ yen ticket price into the park. Guess it'll be my last time there (unless my future partner wants to visit the place). Our tour guide brought us to Shinjuku to walk through the place and do some shopping. Got Phoenix Wright 3 and one Fate/Stay Night image book. Hope to find the other items on my shopping list tomorrow. Guess that's it for tonight. Oyasumi.
